Introduction
My name is Dan O'Connell. I am a Criminal Justice major and work as a Police Officer in Northeast Massachusetts. I have been married for 12 years and have two boys: 10 years and 21 months. I love deer hunting and shooting sports. I coach youth football, wrestling and lacrosse.
I am a Police Officer too taking classes to finish my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. I am taking 3 courses this semester. I am not even half way done yet which is so discouraging but I cant wait til its over. Have you taken many courses?
I have taken courses at other colleges. I started out as a wildlife biology major 21 years ago. Then I switched to software development 13 years ago. I became a cop 4 years ago, so now I'm on the criminal justice track. I'm taking 3 courses too, and I can't wait to finish up. There is some good information that would be useful, but I'm honestly more concerned with finishing up first so I can get a pay raise. Then I'll worry about trying to actually learn something. Don't get discouraged, it'll be worth it in the long run.
